An uninteresting garden that consisted of a patio and lawn. The clients wanted to make their garden look more attractive and make it more practical. They wanted the garage at the back of the garden look more appealing and a path leading through the garden to patio for easier access. They wanted lawn big enough to pay badminton and boules on.
The solution, we created a winding path from the patio to the garage to make the garden look wider whilst trying to direct the eye away from garage, onto which climbers will grow. We erected an arch over the path for climbers to create a fragrant walk way as well as act as a feature within the garden. Around the lawn and path we cut beds and placed a mixture of shrubs and perennials with a variety of different colours. The lawn was created big enough for the clients to play boules and badminton on as well as have a little seating area.
