A keen gardener wanted to turn her linear garden into a softer space with more room for plants and a larger more attractive seating area. The brief was to create a circular lawn, a larger patio and a path to the rear of the garden. A colour theme of purple and green was requested.
The solution, a curved patio in limestone linked to a round lawn with a circle feature and a winding path in dark sets complimented the brickwork of the house, the surrounding space gave plenty of room for planting. It is always fun to create a garden for someone who loves to garden, so lots of plants were chosen by the client.
