Last year I planted a couple of Echinacea, hoping against hope that they might get some roots out before being eaten over night by snails. Not only were they not eaten, they survived the snow and frost, lots of lush greenery came out in Spring, 30 beautiful buds in June, and in the first week of July a glorious Proud Pink Perfect flower, now in September the plant is still fabulous, new buds appearing still. How can you go wrong with 3 months of flowering.
